I am not familiar with those manipulations. However, I know the difference in supplements between " elemental amounts " versus products that don't state it. One time I couldn't get the correct products, and I had definite symptoms of not getting enough cal/mag. My body is particularly sensitive since I don't have a thyroid which is the main regulator of calcium. I know by the way my body reacts that Natural Factors is a good brand. If you are taking 1.2 grams of elemental magnesium per day, that is 1,200 mgs, which will definitely cause diarrhea. Only take a maximum of 300 mg twice a day along with 300 mg of calcium citrate twice a day (and together). You will get more severe diarrhea if you don't get enough calcium as well.
