Welcome to our group. It isn't possible for candida to be sexually transmitted, since it occurs within each person independent of any outside influences of any kind. That is because candida is normal throughout the body, but due to " poor health " (a depressed immune system) it changes from a friendly organism into an overgrowing monster. Poor health is mainly because of lack of proper nutrients the body needs to maintain its health, and toxins. +++It is very common for men to get balanitis as a result of candida overgrowth, just like women get vaginal yeast. It cannot be cured by direct treatments, since the only cure is by building up the immune system. > > Initially my symptoms were lesions/sores under the foreskin, yeast > like build-up and odour, itching and redness. > I was cleared of all other STDs and was assured it was stricly a skin > problem. > > I have tried Caneston (with and without steroids) which did very > little to help > Fluconazole relieved symptoms fully then came back shortly after > Loprox relieved symtpoms fully then came back > I tried all of these never being informed of any diet restrictions. +++Most doctors are not trained in treating illness with diet or proper nutrients, since they only get about 5-8 hours training in medical school. They only know how to use drugs and they do not believe the body can heal itself. +++The reason those treatments don't work is because candida can't be killed of with antifungals or other treatments in order to get rid of it. It is only cured by building up the immune system with " proper nutrients, " by eliminating foods and toxins that feed candida, and by eliminating other toxins. Also drugs like fluconazole and Loprox are toxic which creates more symptoms without treating the " cause " which is a depressed immune system - natural antifungals are not toxic. <snip> > Any general advice would be greatly appreciated if you anything to > offer, but I suppose my main questions are: > > Should I be using a topcial antifungal directly under the foreskin of > my penis, like loprox, while on Bee's regimen? If so which one? Or > perhaps I should just monitor how it reacts to the diet without any > topical antifungal? +++No, it isn't helping you to use any drugs, which are very toxic. You can use natural treatments such as unrefined coconut oil, which is antifungal, but it won't cure until your immune system is built up. > > I am also allergic to nuts (and coconuts) is there anything I shuold > stay away from in the diet besides the coconut oil? (there are a lot > of extracts and such that I have never heard of) +++Being allergic to nuts in general doesn't mean you are allergic to unrefined coconut oil. Also allergies to good unadulterated foods are totally misleading and wrong because: 1) the antibody test food allergy tests are based on are totallly false, 2) natural healing reactions by the body are misinterpreted as allergic reactions, when they aren't, 3) food allergy tests are not accurate because laboratories don't use pure unadulterated foods in making up the antigens used for testing, etc., etc. - see these articles: Healing Reactions Versus Allergic Reactions: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal11.php Healing Foods, Herbs & Spices Create Healing Reactions: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal14.php Food Allergy Tests Are Questionable: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/allergy4.php The Antibody Theory is False: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu5_3_2.php +++However some nuts are also toxic, such as peanuts which contain mycotoxins (fungal-type toxins) and are genetically modified. > > It has been over a year and I am at the point where I am considering > circumcision. I am not keen on it but am open to it. > Some doctors maintain that it is the way to rid myself of the > irritation/balanitis. Others are dead set against it, saying it should clear up, but keep prescribing me loprox.. +++You need to go on the complete candida program, so please read " How to Successfully Overcome Candida " and " Curing Candida, How to Get Started " , which are both in the Candida/Yeast Section on my website: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/candida/index.php +++Then you will understand how candida works, and what you need to do and why in order to get healthy. Guest guest
Hey , I just wanted to comment on being 'allergic' to coconuts. My sister became 'allergic' to all nuts (except peanuts) when she was about 29 years old. She started this diet in the summer and was deathly afraid of taking coconut oil since she always believed she was 'allergic' since her reaction was that her throat swells closed. Very scary! (I put 'allergic' in quotes because as Bee explained we are not really allergic to good foods). Well, I convinced her to try even just 1/8 of a teaspoon of coconut oil and to have another adult with her to drive her to the hospital (just in case) and she did that. It ended up that she never needed to go to the hospital and now eats 4-5 tablespoons of coconut oil a day and has never had any problem with 'allergies' from it - no swelling or tightness in her throat. So, I encourage you to start taking the coconut oil just a little at a time and gradually increase it. With regards to the circumcision, I agree with Bee. You need to cure it from the inside out. Once you get the yeast under control, the balanitis will go away. It would be like a woman cutting off her labia to get rid of a yeast infection. It's not going to work. You really do have to do this diet in order to heal yourself. Obviously it's up to you, but I would just hate to see you get circumsized and the problem doesn't go away, you know? I wish you lots of luck. > > Hi my name is I am a 28 year old male > > I am also allergic to nuts (and coconuts) is there anything I shuold > stay away from in the diet besides the coconut oil?
