Too much butter and thyroid results

Hi Bee,

I was wondering if I need to cut down my butter in relation to

coconut oil. The last time I wrote I was doing really well on 4

tblsp of c.o. Well lately I've had to cut it down to 3 tblsp because

I have been waking up in the middle of the night. I can fall asleep

okay but after about 4 or 5 hours I'm up. I feel that it's my

adrenals and they are stressed, perhaps from too many antifungals?

I'm eating a ton of butter, like about 5 or 6 tblsp a day and I'm

wondering if I should cut that down and try to increase my c.o.

instead since the goal is to get it up to 6 tblsp. Is one more

powerful than the other as an antifungal?

Also, I've been meaning to write and let you know that I need to cut

down my thyroid medication. Last tie when I wrote and said I was

doing well, I was waiting for some thyroid labs. The results said my

free t3 was too high (6.2 and the top of the range is 4.2) so I

thought that was good news. My free t3 has never been that high

before. Also, I know you don't believe in the antibody theory but I

thought it was interesting that my antibodies are down too. I think

this is the lowest they have ever been. So I've been trying to cut

down on my thyroid medication but it's so hard. I have been doing

about 1/4 of a tablet every week because if I cut it down too much, I

stress out my adrenals but then again if I'm taking too much it

probably stresses them out too. I feel like I can't win.

Anyway, Bee, what do you think I should do? Cut down on the butter

and up my c.o. or cut down on butter and c.o. until I can decrease my

thyroid meds and not have my adrenals stress out? I was so happy

because I was doing well on the diet and now I'm feeling a little

discouraged because I'm not sleeping as well as I was. Oh well, I'm

hanging in there and I'm sure eventually things will work itself

out. Thanks for your help, Bee!
