Guest guest
Aliano, dont be confused with Coconut Oil (cooking oil) and VCO (virgin coconut oil). Depends on what we are talking about, but... Heat definitely affects coconut oil per se...this is a fact. If you use coconut oil for cooking then don't worry about how heat affects it...you will have to use RBD oil that has undergone multiple processings to become a coconut cooking oil. BUT, if you are going to take VCO as a dietary supplement and take it in directly by the spoonfuls...this is a different story all together. Guest guest
Hey Bee & Gang, After you open a container of coconut oil, is it okay to leave it out at room temp? I've been refrigerating it, but of course it's rock hard when I need to use it and I have to cleave into it with a fork. I'm very paranoid about my food getting moldy and I live in a humid climate. Thx,

You always keep coconut oil at room temperature, and not in the fridge, since it keeps for 2 years that way. Bee
