Dear Bee,

I need you input as I am suffering something terrible. My story is

very long but I will try and put it in a nut shell for you. Back in

1997 I became very ill with head to toe, giant sized hives, migraines,

fatigue, muscle pain, and anxiety/depression. The medical community

at large had no answers and in an attempt to control my symptoms I was

prescribed antihistimines and prednisone. With each passing year my I

would grow sicker and gain new symptoms. In 2005, just when I didn't

things could get any worse, I developed interstitial cystitis.

Interstitial/pelvic pain along with unrelenting urinary frequency and

urgency. There are days when I have to urinate more than 90 times yet

only drops come out - it is awful.

Anyway, I was finally referred to a chronic illness doc that diagnosed

me with lyme disease in addition to a few other chronic infections. I

ended up treating the lyme disease with both IV and oral antibiotic

over a 3 year period.

I did get much better in many ways and my IC went away for a long

while. Unfortunately, when I stopped taking antibiotics, all my

symptoms returned with a vengeance!!! Since, I have decided not to

take anymore antibiotics because I think, in many ways, they have

damaged my body. I have decided to heal myself with natural methods

instead.

I can't help but to notice that the symptoms of " lyme " are virtually

the same as systemic candida. This makes me wonder.

I am trying to stick to the diet but I am so hungry and I am also very

thin. I am also working with a holistic healer, taking good

supportive supplements and nystatin but I am just so miserable. I

feel like total crap and I can't sleep due to my urinary issues. As a

result I am very depressed and can't help thinking that this is never

going to end.

Just wondering if you have any insight or opinions for me.
