Guest guest
Ann, I'm sorry to hear about Boo! Hopefully the doctor will be able to give you some insight as to why he is gagging on his food. My 5 year old stepson does the exact same thing! He will eat something (even something he likes) and then gag it right back up. He probably does that at least once a day during mealtime! We are going to take him to the ped when he gets here for the summer and see what is up with that! Let me know what your doctor says and good luck. Guest guest
Hhmm Ann that sounds a little scary-are you sure he doesn't have a splinter or something? My sisters little girl screamed nonstop for 2 days until the realized she had a piece of hair wrapped aroundher toe that was cutting off the circulation- do a body check:-) and good luck. beck
Guest guest
In regard to the food how old is he? IF he can follow direction have him take a bite then turn to the left and swallow do the same for the right see if that decreases the gagging or if he gags on onside and not the other. Also I don't know what consistency he is eating but you may want to try thickening his food-they have a powder called thick-it that can do this for you-or you may need to thin it out. Tell me what he is eating and choking on how old he is and his diet consistency. Beck
