Guest guest
Hi all. I have a confirmed conversion problem... I was doing real good and my doc is letting keep my FT3 about 1 point above range and I do good there. Haven't had a test in 3-4 months and now it's dropping for no apparent reason.. and I can feel it to. It's right at the the top of the range now and my brain problems are getting worse and the tirness us returning big time. That's all I've notice so far. I increased my Cytomel yesterday by 5 mcg. and today by 2.5 and tomorrow I'll try to quarter the pill.. hard to do...and make an appointment with my doc. But, do any of you have any ideas why it would drop for no reason? Over a year ago my numbers dropped way low and a lot more stuff happened to me.. almost had a heart attack or something like that.. it was because the manufacturer change Armour thyroid.. I increased the Amour and my Cytomel and everything got so much better until now.. If you see this message on other groups yes, it's me.. trying to get help figuring it out.. thanks so much Bev

Guest guest
I have a conversion problem too, and also got very sick with the Armour change. I'm only on generic T3, and I have found that when it's colder I seem to need more. I try to play it by ear because I have afib too, and don't want it to kick over into too much T3 and make me hyper. That precipitates the afib attacks, so that's not good for me. It's a balancing act. I don't take any T4 at all, and so far it's working. It's just a pain in the neck having to take it 5 times a day, so as not to take too much at one time. <>Roni Immortality exists! It's called knowledge!
