Guest guest
Yes, I did go in and change my address at the site. Thank you for the offer to do so. So far we are very pleased with the broadband. Buzz has actually been on the computer all afternoon. All three of my children are sick with some kind of flu, I guess. Sore throat, headache, body ache, coughing. So they have been trying out the new connection. It is so much faster than our old connection. We were dropping off and taking forever to load a page. This does within 4 seconds. It is amazing. Email downloads in seconds. And I have alot of messages. So that is a huge difference. The virus program was simple to configure. No problems at all in configuring to broadband with anything. We love it so far. If that changes I will let you know. Amy OT: Re: new e-mail Hi Amy,Just wondering if you've already unsubbed your old email addy andresubscribed with your new one ... or if you want me to go and fiddlewith the settings? Let me know, okay? Was it difficult to set up the broadband connection? Do you notice ahuge difference in speed? Are you satisfied with the way it's working?Or maybe it's still too early to decide? I'll bet Buzz is excited. Joshhas been hinting that he'd like us to switch to Roadrunner, through ourlocal cable company. I'm thinking that maybe around holiday time they'llhave an offer I can't refuse and we should give it a try. I've been withthe same ISP since we first went online, back in late 1996. Lately, their connection doesn't seem to be as good as it used to be. We neverused to get bumped off or have low speed but it's happening more thesedays. As far as your virus protection, were you able to use the same productand configure it easily enough?I hope you love the new broadband service :)Aloha,Georginaand Amy wrote:> I have a new e-mail address. Guest guest
Hi again, Amy. I hope the kids are feeling better? And I hope you haven't caught that germ? Thanks for all the details about your broadband. Sounds like a great improvement over dial-up service! Take Care, Georgina and Amy wrote: > Yes, I did go in and change my address at the site. Guest guest
Thanks Georgina. Everyone is doing better. We all ended up with whatever it was. Buzz is still coughing some. If it continues I guess I will have to take him into the doctor just to make sure. I am going to give it another few days. Everyone else is over the cough and all. Guest guest
Hi, Barb. You might check your page again and make sure there is a check or highlight beside the new email address. I have multiple ones too but the correct one is checked so that one shows up with my posts. Guest guest
Thanks for the suggestion . I checked and does show the gmail address as my primary e-mail. Since the group e-mail is still coming to this AOL address, maybe it takes a while for them to update it. Barb
