Guest guest
I just came from my internist. As usual I took a list of questions. One question I asked was if I should stop eating soy, gluten, and goitrogens. He said I should eat anything I want. The endo at the Mayo Clinic told me the same thing, but in moderation. If changing what we eat won't stop the progression of the disease, which it won't, and doesn't make a noticable difference in how we feel, why do it? I started reading labels as Roni suggested. There are so many foods containing soy and gluten, that it seems like there isn't much left to eat. Yesterday I had spaghetti with italian sausage. After eating it, I realized that under that type of eating plan, I shouldn't have had either. Barb
