The Raw Thyroid is from a bovine source - NOT porcine Margaret.

Hi

I have just stumbled upon these on Amazon when looking for books.

and this, which sounds better

Hi Margaret, Now are these being sold as supplements or medicine? Is there a declared T4/T3 content? If not then these may be just the rest of the thyroid with the active bits taken out. thyroid treatment From: margaretp09@...Date: Wed, 11 Aug 2010 17:48:16 +0000Subject: Raw thyroid

Hi ,

As Sheila mentioned, they are bovine so probably not good! They are supplements and these are the ingredients.

Important Information

IngredientsThyroid Tissue: 50mg, Adrenal Tissue: 20mg, Pituitary Tissue: 10mg, Thymus Tissue: 5mg, Spleen Tissue: 5mg, Kelp: 300mgDirectionsAs a dietary supplement, take one capsule daily, following a meal.

The supplement from New Zealand is also bovine but sounds better but again they are bovine!

Product Features

From natural whole tissue concentrates from organically raised New Zeland bovine Specially processed to preserve all naturally occurring nutrients No antibiotics or chemical additives are used on the animals; raised in grasslands free of pesticides Sustained-release formulation that ensures maximum intestinal availability

I note that Resveratol is also a reasonable cost on here.

No; and Chuck can probably tell you the differences in detail. AFAIK

the main difference is that the processed product is formulated to

contain and maintain a specific level of the active ingredients [T4/T3]

that is different from the natural [unprocessed] product. So you cannot

control your dose as well with the raw product.

Luck,
