Guest guest
T3 is what your body actually uses and it normally makes that from T4. Apparently there are a few people who have conversion, binding, reverse T3 or other problem with T4 and for them there is a lot of anecdotal evidence that the T3 may work better. However the percentage is apparently so small that when studies are done between T4 only and either T3 or a T3/T4 product IIRC whatever benefit that exists for T3 alone gets lost in the noise. That doesn't mean it does not exist. Roni appears to be a good example of an exception to the general use of T4 alone for hypothyroidism.
