Guest guest
My friend sent me these test scores, but doesn't have the ranges. Even so, they don't look good to me. She doesn't take any thyroid meds at all. Anybody with an ideas? Free T4 0.63 Free T3 2.6 Reverse T3 158 T3 Uptake 38 TSH 2.23 PTH Intake 28.0 My Vit D total is 49 and my doc is very happy but I think that's too low. Guest guest
yes vit D is too low, should be at 60 to 70; if it's too low it can keep your body from absorbing all the thyroid medication. My vitamin D is 23, but that's good, because it's supposed be 25 and I'm almost there. A friend told me today that her doctor said it has to be at least 30. When I checked the Internet, it said it should be between 30 and 70. I have an appointment with a new doctor next week. It's a woman, and I'm hoping she will be more competent and caring than the last. Barb *
