Guest guest
Good Grief, Harper. I do hope you can get in quickly to have the "Nerve Block" I had a friend that had a "Nerve Block" for a back injury and it worked great. Good luck to you, and I will keep you in my prayers. Take Care, Shirlee Re: [ ] Nerve block? Has anyone ever had a "nerve block?" I'm to have one Wednesday, or sooner if there is a cancellation. I'd like to hear from anyone who has had one. Guest guest
Harper, Thanks so much. Yes, I'm trying to stay on top of things. My daughter is a big help with this. She's an EMT and meets me at the Transplant visits. She's 2 hours the other direction so it's a long drive for her also. As far as the move, my family has been wonderful. My sisters (3) have all helped me box things up and my son and his friends will do the heavy moving. I have thrown out so much junk. It is amazing what can collect in 15 years. I just got news today that the 2nd contract we had on the house, which we were to close on the 28th will not go through. The family was transferred here from West VA, the husband has been living in a hotel for a month and when he went to the company he works for to collect closing cost (They were paying this) they told him they were giving him a promotion and he will be moving out of state. So the house is back on the market again for the 3rd time. Fortunately, I'm in a very hot market and we have gotten contracts the first day we've listed each time but this is getting to be crazy. Some times I feel like if I didn't have bad luck I would not have any at all. I'm not getting to upset because I know it will sell again. I just hope the 3rd time's a charm. Will keep you informed. . Guest guest
Hey Harper…how was Italy????? Debby Re: [ ] Digest Number 3766 In a message dated 11/11/2004 4:45:28 AM Pacific Standard Time, writes: My liver functions have all come down and into range nicely (i'm going to phone and get a copy of the exact results - just for my own records) but one concern today was that i had a raised bilirubin count??? 27 if that means anything to anyone - apparently 50 is something to worry about?? , your lab must use a different scale from mine. I'm not familiar with that number range for bilirubin. If you're short on general information, beyond what you can get on-line, you might enjoy having a basic reference book, " Guide to Liver Disease " by Dr. Palmer. I think you could get it in South Africa and that it would apply to medical practise there. The 2004 edition is available through amazon.com or liverdisease.com, which is Dr. Palmer's website. Best wishes. Harper
