Guest guest
Hi Joanne! Although it feels terrible those times when I'm very down and feel that I don't even want to speak to anyone because I cannot remember names and words I've learned to turn this fuzziness to my advantage. I have also done some crazy things and cannot do anything else than laugh about them. My colleagues at work told me that they thought it made them feel good that I could tell everybody about my mishaps and laugh about them. They say it makes them feel better when they do something stupid. Being able to laugh at yourself makes you feel better. This is a way for me to cope. I say things that make people laugh, (and not always on purpose) not because I'm stupid or because they think I'm stupid (the opposite), but because I honestly just don't know or remember and I'm not ashamed yo admit it. Questioning things in a good way does not make you unintelligent, the opposite. I've actually gotten a managerial position at work partly because of that I'm not afraid of asking questions. Being a bit confused and female makes you less scary for the men and that is also something I've learned to use ... So who cares if you sometimes make a fool out of yourself. Give yourself and people around you the pleasure to laugh about your mishaps. Remember, Laughter prolongs your life! Take care! Nina!
