Guest guest
I'll print out the Tamiflu site information regarding unproved efficacy in immuno-compromised people and take it to my medical appt (GP) tomorrow. I'll let you know what her opinion is. I'll check on Remicade, too; I haven't heard anything about it lately. Has it fallen out of favor? I once got on a plane to visit my daughter, who was having an emergency operation. When I arrived, I found I had a newly arrived form of flu. I was taken to the hospital unconscious and spent five days in a hospital in a strange town, barely aware of my surroundings, and then stayed in a hotel for days afterward until I could travel again. I was unable to see my daughter, of course. Heaven knows how many people I infected along the way. Come to think of it, I think this happened a few months before I was diagnosed with AIH. So, I take flu prevention and amelioration very, very seriously. I always get my flu shot, I wash my hands frequently, and I try to be prepared for the possible onset of flu.
