Guest guest
Kathy!! your garden sounds wonderful!!! I need to look into the fish thing some. (so if you are not able to catch fish or don't fish, where can you get fish heads and such?? How about it our trout friends???) I am in Andover and have the poor soil you are talking about, or should I say SAND???? Our garden is doing OK but I need to work so on the soil as I know it can do much better. Sadly I have a great crop of weeds. Guest guest
Kathy.which state do you live in.I live in VT. top of one of the green mountians. My veggys I started myself inside....and after this weekends cold rain I shall put them into the ground.I have 5 kinds of squash!.yummy... The potatoes this year are a new thing for me.I planted Fingerlings. And, for the first year no carrots.I can buy fresh organic easy and they are not too pricey so am goiin for the more costly to grow. I also have lettuce seeds that I can plant inside this wintewr under the grow light on my potting bench.so will be able to have fresh lettuce all year. One of the flowers I got today was a Budlei bush........my hummingbirds will love it as will the butterflys. I try to plant for bees, hummingbirds, and butterflys. How about you in the Austrailian area......how were your gardens this past summer? Still harvesting I assume. I do love your country and all your amazing animals and plants.... Guest guest
Hello, I am from Massachusetts near the New Hampshire border. This is the busiest and most exciting time of the year for me with all my gardening. A problem for me now is that the trees have grown so much that I am losing sunlight. We can cut down some branches to help but not enough for my liking. Is anyone going to the conference? It should be alot of fun and educational too. Hope you can make the trip. I always wear gloves in the garden and constantly at work as well. I work in a medical laboratory. Happy Spring, Kathy
