Do you know where Dr Holland practices.

Eating dead animals can harm you. Especially if they have been standing in their own poop since birth in a feed lot.

I noticed someone posted about fatty liver but was confused as to whom exactly so I'm posting this here. There's a book called "The Fungus Link To Weight Loss" by Doug Kaufmann and Dr. Holland that proposes that fatty liver and, therefore, other related conditions which include stubborn weight gain, could be caused by fungal infections. You can see the books index here (at Doug Kaufmann's website www.knowthecause.com ).He has a daily half hour TV show that's available in many cable and dish channels and also at the website itself. It has been very revealing for me so I want to share this with everyone here.I believe this is really another very important link to solving a lot of the problems that afflict many of us and explains why iodine, which is anti-fungal, can cure the very same diseases mentioned by Mr. Kaufmann. This is really great news for those of us who have had a hard time or cannot tolerate the large amounts of iodine required to get cured of those conditions. It's very likely that we could achieve the same results with smaller amounts of iodine plus an anti-fungal diet and other natural anti-fungal supplements.

A fatty liver is caused by primarily by excessive carbohydrate consumption. Pate

de Fois Gras is made from the fatty liver of geese - these poor unfortunates are

force-fed vast quantities of grain every day to ensure that the liver acheives

the correct consistency before they are slaughtered. They have a funnel rammed

down their gullet and grain is literally poured in until they are full. One of

the reasons I won't touch the stuff, as the whole process is cruel and inhumane.

Cut down on carbs and you'll prevent this worsening - who knows, it may even

reverse, as the liver is the one major organ that can regenerate itself.

Loads of good info about " healthy eating " here: http://www.second-opinions.co.uk

Enjoy,

Graham

have a fatty liver the T4 has a problem converting, which in turn could cause

your body to convert to more RT3 than T3? I have a fatty liver and as hypo

causes your organs to slow down, could this be the cause of my fatty liver?

By Mayo Clinic staff

No standard treatment for nonalcoholic fatty liver disease exists. Instead,

doctors typically work to treat the risk factors that contribute to your liver

disease. For instance, if you're obese, your doctor will help you to lose weigh

through diet, exercise and, in some cases, medications and surgery. If a

medication is causing your fatty liver disease, your doctor will try to switch

you to a different medication.

                                                            Example.if you are

currently taking prednisone for AIH perhaps your doctor can switch you to Imuran

etc...............Jusat a thought .  Hugs, Joanne  (one of my grandsons is

in Korea right now.so I understand.  Where did your son go?

Hi Bonnie,I started the iodine protocol after researching non-alcoholic fatty liver. NAFL is thought to be associated with an MTHFR genetic defect. This leads to an inability to methylate properly. From what I've read, the liver gets fatty because it tries to store toxins it can't clear out in fat. Iodine helps tremendously with detoxing the liver. The supporting vitamins that I take are all in the methylated forms and I have been able to lose 10 lbs in 6 weeks, have significantly less edema, lower blood pressure, no sugar cravings, less appetite, and, best of all, 20% improvement in my blood work. Last week I had a HIDA scan that showed my liver is only considered "slightly" fatty now and my gall bladder is functioning normally again. A scan in

September showed that I had no function in my GB. I'm on 25mg/day now and I have to take my BP med every other day because my blood pressure is so much better. I plan to increase to 50mg/day over the next month and , hopefully, won't need my BP meds anymore. I've already stopped taking the metformin that my doctor gave me for insulin resistance because my blood work now showed a fasting glucose of 79 (Perfect!). This protocol is amazing. It has put me on the road to good health. The two additional supplements I've added to the standard protocol are TMG (for extra help with MTHFR) and Milk Thistle (for extra help for my liver). Hope this helps,Kari From: Bonnie Cole <bonnieview@...> iodine Sent: Sunday, December 11, 2011 7:56 PM Subject: Fatty LIVER

Hello:

In the IODINE book, the list says Iodine treats Liver Diseases, does anyone know if that would include non-alcoholic Fatty Liver?

Is that considered a disease?

Thanks a lot,

Bonnie
