Guest guest
Hi , I was wondering how you were doing these days. Sometimes no news is good news, but sometimes not Let's see. Does this mean you had to go off the Enbrel? If so, how long did you get to try it for? Did you start off having some good response to it, and then get the side effects that made you feel you should stop, or did you get the side effects right away? Did it help your joint symptoms any? What a bummer. Glad the pharmacist picked up on the aspirin allergy. The doctor didn't, though? Gee.... I hope the Imuran helps. Are you taking any other meds at this time? So you've been pretty busy!?! The web site looks really nice. Great job. And you're still travelling, too. That's good. I'm glad you gave us all an update, here. Maybe some of the newer list members will go take a visit at your site, and send some positive feedback. I know it's totally unrelated to JRA but I have a new page up, too. If you'd like to take a look at the little birdies I've been raising, you can see their earliest pictures at: http://albums.photopoint.com/j/AlbumIndex?u=912883 & a=6652023 Let me know what you think, okay? Guest guest
, My grandmother has RA and was prescribed something, not sure what, and the pharmacist told her if she took that medicine on top of another she was already on that it could've been lethal. Very scary... I know doctors are human and make mistakes, but gosh don't they read the charts? lol Also, my grandmother has been prescribed something in the past that helped, but she refuses to take it because she says it made her feel " silly " ! lol I really enjoyed your website! I now have it marked on my favorites for future reference Take care and best of luck,
Guest guest
Hello Georgina Yes I am off the Enbrel. It was working pretty good for me also. This feeling in my head has been going on for a couple of months but we wanted to make sure it wasn't being causing from my anti- depressent that I was on. But it wasn't it so the enbrel had to be stopped. It felt like someone was squezzing my head part of the time. I wasn't able to drive because of it. And that had but I real bad thing on my life. Since I depend on myself for pretty much everything that I do. So I am back on the Imuran again this time takeing 100mgs Lets hope that it works for me this time. I have tooken the Imuran before I was on it for close to 7 years. This last time I was only taking 50mgs of it and it wasn't working. If not I am sure there will be other options soon. the only thing that I am on is the Imuran. except for when I take pain meds. I had been on the enbrel for 5 months. I don't so much blame the doctor for not picking it up, it's as much my fault as the doctors for not picking up that the vioxx has the same reaction as asprin. My main concern was that it wasn't a sulfa drug. Or have the same affect as a sulfa drug never even thought about asking about the asprin. It's not a major reaction, it just thins out my blood to much and puts knots in my arms. Ok well enough on that. Yes my website does take up alot of my time. Plus I have been working on a couple of other website. I am trying to get my personal website back up, but that won't happen this week. Maybe once I get back from Walla Walla on the 20th. I liked the pictures of your birds. I use to have a bird like that. it use to say all sorts of things, until it got out of it's cage while we were out of town and kinda had a flying problem. It ran into a wall. But that is life. Well got to go and finish backing as for I am leaving tomorrow for walla walla. Talk to you all later.
