Yesterday I went to one of Hong Kong's biggest and oldest hospitals,

Queen II Hospital, where I asked for another drug instead

of Indocin, the ped rheumatologist gave us Ibuprofen. Then I went to

take the drug at Phramacy of the hospital. However, the phramacist

told me that he didn't know the dosage of a child of 20 months old.

My daughter was 11.2 kg weigh ( 24 pounds ). He consulted the ped

rheum and then I was given Indocin. How can I do ? I just asked the

phramacist if i could let my daughter, Yoyo, to take 2 dosages a day

and then stop taking for 24 hours to see if Yoyo was allergic to

Indocin. If no problem, we continue to have Indocin. Yoyo takes 5

mg/ml two times daily of Indocin.

Please the JRA group members tell me what the dosage a child, ( 20

months old and 24 pounds ) should take for Ibuprofen.
