Guest guest
Sharon, Here is a link to a page explaining kidney reflux, or as its technically called vesicoureteral reflux. Kelsey had a bad UTI that led into a nasty kidney infection, but we had been using lots of bubble bath, which was a definite no-no! It was right when she was diagnosed and was taking a warm bath 2 times every day, so we were trying to make them more fun for her. Needless to say we learned our lesson. Our pediatrician wanted to have Kelsey tested for reflux, but we opted not to do this since she only had one infection (none since) and knowing the bubble bath probably started it. Anyway, I've been told when children have problems with UTIs that they should be checked for this, so that's why I was curious. Click here: Vesicoureteral reflux s Hopkins Pediatric Urology http:www.med.jhu.edu/pediurol/pediatric/access/vur.html
