Guest guest
Hi , You know, I'm still convinced that the big differences we've been seeing in Josh can be attributed to switching from oral to sub Q injections of methotrexate. He took it orally for 4 years, first. That's why I was very concerned after almost a year when he started being resistant to getting the shots, and the doctor okayed having the shots twice a month, the pills twice a month. My worries were unfounded. It's all continued to work out better than expected. And Josh, while he still says the shots make him feel weird, a little dizzy, and more tired ... seems to have adjusted to the point where he can even do his homework and then go out and play, even on the day he gets the shots. He used to just fall asleep right away! Strange. I guess we'll never know for sure what exactly is making these good things happen but I'm not complaining. Just very glad for the recent changes Take care, Georgina LINDA BUDD wrote: > > Georgina, The doctor thinks that increasing the dose of the MTX is > what really is making do so good.
