Tad off subject, but related nevertheless.

As many of you know Texas has been the king of tort reform by limiting

consumers rights to the courts, and placing caps on awards.

The Austin Statesman ran an article about a Candidate for Texas Attorney

General Gregg Abbott who is advocating caps on lawsuits of only $250,000,

the use of mandatory binding arbitration, and bashes trial lawyers every

chance he gets. Well.......

When he had an accident in 1984, he sued, using a " greedy " trial lawyer, and

received $10 MILLION doing so! Read the article at:

Folks, Texas is the breeding ground for tort reform and hypocrisy. You might

have noticed ads on TV by the Chamber of Commerce about the lawsuit abuse

tax. Think Texas Candidate Gregg Abbot wont affect you? Think again. The

hypocrisy is coming to America.

JOKE: When do you stop bashing greedy trial lawyers? When you need one.
