As Ken stated, winning a case in court and getting compensation are two different things.

A coworker has won her case against the hospital that we work three times in a higher level of court. Each time the hospital appeals and on they move to the next step. Now they are going to the Washington State supreme court. She has Hepatitis C and as a scrub technician has proof of a needlestick exposure. She also has been chronically sick with spinal pain for the past few years. She is only in her 40's and a train wreck.

Around the time she won at the last appeals a nasty article was written about her in the newspaper describing her wild youth of sex,drugs(pot) and Rock & Roll.Pretty disgusting on whoever's part that did this.
