Guest guest
: I do not usually read messages on these boards, but I saw your reference to me in one of your messages. How can I help you? If you move away and do not get any better, make sure you did not take contaminated items with you. If you want to take a few samples and send them to me, I can have them analyzed to determine if you are being exposed to high levels of toxic molds. You can take swab samples without anyone's permission, ie off you desk, from your vent, from the return air plenum, from the vacuum cleaner, etc.......as long as it is not destructive and you do it on your own time, not company time. I have a case in Davenport, Iowa where many workers were sick from a building they worked in, and it took a long time before I was allowed inside to do the testing and the workers were expected to pay the lab fees, but then they found an attorney. Put the sterile swabs in a ziplock bag and label the bags and send them to me. I will not charge you anything for my time. Incubation, identification and counting of the molds sampled takes 2-3 weeks. If you have an attorney, have him/her contact me. Dr. L.
