A question for the group re

Hi everyone,

I wanted your opinion on something. My husband,

chrissy and I are leaving for a visit to texas on

thursday. On the way back I am spending some time in

Pheonix to visit my aunt. I was getting directions

from the web and looked up how far it would be to

's house. and I have been friends on

the net for some time now. My aunt lives 2 miles away

from him. What I wanted to ask the group is since I

have no way of contacting would it be rude

to stop by. I would atleast like to leave something

for him and the kids. Should I just mail it? How

would anyone here feel if the shoe was on the other

foot??? I was not sure what to do and thought maybe

the group could give me some input....

Hi Suzie:

From what I remember of 's posts, he felt very connected to the group.

I remember he wrote that it was with great regret that he would no longer be

in touch because of all the financial problems they were having. SO - I

think, from what I remember of him, he would be deeply touched and very glad

to see you.

For me personally, where I come from (northern Ontario, Canada) dropping in

on people is perfectly okay and a welcome event. It was rare that people

would make advance plans to visit... you'd just go. We're a friendly bunch

up here!! Anyway, again, from what I remember of him, my impression of him,

I think he will be very glad of a visit from you, even without advance

warning. I say go for it.

I would have to agree with you here in the south its great to meet others and

a drop by is even better

also since we are connected in this group with heart felt day by day events

of our kids it would be a great surprise for and Skyler
