Guest guest
Air filters haved no effect on dust mites. They live in your favorite chair, carpeting, and bedding. They reproduce where skin scales accumulate and the relative humidity is +60%. Compressing these surfaces forces the fecal pellets into the air and you in turn inhale them. Keeping the relative humidity below 50% kills dust mites. It takes 6 mos. for the allergyn in the fecal pellet to deteriorate. In green grass climates, dehumidification is required during the humid seasons of the year. For gas pollutants (vocs) fresh air ventilation is best, if impossible carbon/potassium permagenate air filters are next best. > Has anyone have tried Pionair for clean air?
