Guest guest
- We don't hear from you much anymore. I've wondered how you're doing. I know finding a lump is scary. At your age, however, the odds are on your side. It's probably harmless. Please let us know. I'll keep you in my prayers. Guest guest
Hi , I too have had a breast biopsy. Very scary, but all was well. It will probably be fine with you as well. It usually is, but all you hear about is the times it isn't. I will keep you in my prayers. Christy
Guest guest
i dont think needle removal would work, she was really insistant on it being a firm mass, very difinite she said. my mom is hoping its a calcium deposit but i wonder if you can even have those without ever having kids? i will keep you all posted if tuesday ever gets here, lol, it seems forever away. thanks for your prayers, brandy Re: lump in breast Hi ,I'm sorry to hear of the lump. When I was around 22 I found a lump in my breast. Thedoctor tried removing it with a syringe but it wassolid, so they surgically removed the lump. It was apretty scary time, I had just had my first child andall kinds of horrible thoughts went through my head. It turned out to be some kind of benign tumor andeverything was ok. --- Hendricks <brandy_erin@...> wrote:> i dont write very often anymore, even tho i still> check your posts everyday so for those newbies....i> am brandy. i am 24 and was dx'd with systemic jra,> or stills disease, when i was 5. i have had 5 total> joint replacements, several additional surgeries for> corrective issues, was dx'd with minimal change> disease nephratic syndrome (kidney disease) about a> year and a half ago. i had my annul physical on> tuesday, and being female that includes a breast> exam. my doctor found a lump, it is dime sized. > that doesnt sound good to me and im kind of> panicking but doing my best to stay calm. i have to> see some specialist on tuesday for an ultrasound so> they can see it better and decide what to do next. > they said my age makes mammograms unreliable because> my breast tissue would be too firm to see anything> well. i just wanted to tell you this, an update,> and i will again when i know whats going on. right> now, i am saying that surely after everything else> it wouldnt be anything bad, more like begging please> dont let it be anything bad. since this is supposed> to be all about problems jra-ers face, i hope no one> is offended. this is just another of my life, a> veteran of jra and still going. see you guys on> tuesday. brandy> > Respectfully,> > E. Guest guest
, Reflecting on the calcium issue. My daughter with JRA, excrete calcium in her urine. If I remember correctly this is an occurrence with some JRA kids. SO theoretically maybe your MOM is right because of the strange things that JRA can do. Guest guest
I had (have) calcium deposits in my breasts. They were microscopic and only found on a mamogram. Actually had to have a mamogram done, needle markers inserted and another mamogram to verify correct placement in order to have a biopsy. So I can only assume that if it is a palpable lump it is not calcium. Christy

Guest guest
Dear , I know how concerned you must feel about this lump. I too found three dime sized lumps in one breast at the age of 23. Breast cancer runs rampant in my family (both sides) so I was sweating bullets until I saw a surgeon. To make a long story short, they turned out to be cyst and caused by hormone fluxuations. They were simply reabsorbed after about three months and reappeared once again after my son was born about three years later , again with no surgery required. I'll keep you in my prayers hun , be strong! :):)Tree:):) lump in breast i dont write very often anymore, even tho i still check your posts everyday so for those newbies....i am brandy. i am 24 and was dx'd with systemic jra, or stills disease, when i was 5. i have had 5 total joint replacements, several additional surgeries for corrective issues, was dx'd with minimal change disease nephratic syndrome (kidney disease) about a year and a half ago. i had my annul physical on tuesday, and being female that includes a breast exam. my doctor found a lump, it is dime sized. that doesnt sound good to me and im kind of panicking but doing my best to stay calm. i have to see some specialist on tuesday for an ultrasound so they can see it better and decide what to do next. they said my age makes mammograms unreliable because my breast tissue would be too firm to see anything well. i just wanted to tell you this, an update, and i will again when i know whats going on. right now, i am saying that surely after everything else it wouldnt be anything bad, more like begging please dont let it be anything bad. since this is supposed to be all about problems jra-ers face, i hope no one is offended. this is just another of my life, a veteran of jra and still going. see you guys on tuesday. brandyRespectfully, E. Guest guest
Absolutely Not. I had fibroids and breast lump issues before HCG and I have monitored them closely (after working with an alternative doctor to determine what was causing them initally) Not only have my fibroids not returned (or gotten bigger since they had diminished to almost nothing but I don't believe they're exactly 'gone'-) but my breast lumps have also disappeared. IME there are numerous environmental (in my case initially the breast lumps were a result of heavy metals from brand name laundry detergents- apparently the process of manufacturing them can be quite polluting and deposit metals into the detergent itself) as well as nutritional causes for these benign tumors. The tumors form to protect the body from infection. My fibroids resulted from an estrogen dominance situation I was in. I changed that plus started taking certain supplements (there's a TON of info out there on this stuff) and my fibroids melted away. I have found no definitive research or personal experience that connects hCG to creating or sustaining these infections. The *only* issue I found was that large fibroids are supported typically by a 'hammock' of abdominal fat. HCG can cause that fat to disappear so quickly that the fibroids can begin to press on other organs, causing pain. One of my friends had that experience a few years ago when she did hCG. But her fibroids were palpable when she started the program, meaning you could easily feel them thru her stomach surface. I made sure I didn't start until mine were no longer 'feelable.' Sadly, it is typical of Western Medicine, when MDs have NO idea what is causing something to blame the nearest thing at hand, especially something they have little or no experience of, or expertise in. After 5 years of that I finally found someone who could figure out what was causing my infections, prescribe me the right nutritional supplements (no drugs at all when all I'd been on were drugs) and not resort to surgery to 'fix' me. All the Best to you and your daughter, Fawn > > My 29 y/o daughter just finished her 2nd round of HCG. About a week after her last injection she found a small lump in her breast. She's had a mammogram and a sonogram and they believe it's a benign fibroid but she's having a needle biopsy just to make sure. > > Of course the doctor is blaming the HCG, although she was on birth control pills for several years (she hasn't been on them in a few months.) > > Has anyone heard of HCG causing fibroids or breast lumps? >
Guest guest
You're most welcome :-) You sound clear and strong. And how marvelous that you and your daughter can share this brilliant program together. F > > > > > > My 29 y/o daughter just finished her 2nd round of HCG.
