On the contrary, my son with autism (almost 19 years old) is the closest to normal when he is taking antibiotics??? Isnt that strange> We dont know if its because he feels so lousy and doesn't have the energy to be anything but relaxed and calm--but that is what he is on antibiotics. I know that they are the treatment for Landau Kleffner disorder--a form of autism.

That's interesting. Karac acts normal when he has a fever. Did you see the program on CBS about the autistic boy who got to play four minutes of basketball and creat mayham? It was so cool. Pat K

My cousin's son has LK and his seizures are somewhat more under control on the ketogenic diet. He is autistic too. I live in NJ (Northern) and am new to the list. My girly girl is 9 years old and autistic. She attends an autistic school in Bergen County. My daughter tends to have more language when under the weather.

Greetings to everyone on the list.

That is the way my daughter is too. She is wonderful when she has a slight fever. She is happy and calm and talks.

waiting to happen I do believe. I wouldn't mix something like that. I don't

want to lecture, so take it for what it's worth. I do take weed now and then and

its a nice bed time thing, but thats all. I think we all agree that just

getting out is the main thing. Its too enticing too stay in and snooze. Good

luck.
