Hi all - it has been a hectic week or so - but I just wanted to let you know

that the play therapy seems to be helping Rob quite a lot already - he has had

no violent acting out episodes for a week now and very few tantrums.

He did have a vomitting episode last Friday with fever, and aches (JRA or flu?)

He has complained of " tummy ache " a lot in the last few days and his appetite

has dwindled to nothing. Could it be the medication on his stomach or something

unrelated. It is so hard to tell. Guess it is time to call the Doc.

Take Care!

Hi - thanks for the message - no he hasn't been put on anything like Zantac

- but I have emailed his Doc to ask about it. I think it is the meds - but the

fever through me off - but I think that episode is probably unrelated to the

stomach aches he has been having. Thanks again!

Hi ,

Thanks. Rob still complains off and on - but not as often as before. I spoke

with his rheumy today & he is ordering Zantac for Rob to see if this makes a

difference, he didn't seem to think that it was his meds - said his current

combination generally doesn't cause a problem (Prednisolone, cyclosporine and

lisinopril) - but thought we should try the Zantac and see if it helps. (I am

really going to miss him when he moves in the summer!). So hopefully this will

help. If the tummy aches had stopped when the fever went away I might just

assume it was the flu. Now, of course he is on the Amoxil for the ear infection

as well. So many meds (and he isn't on half as many as many of the kids on this

list!). Thanks for asking. I hope Tabitha is feeling better!
