Guest guest
I believe you missed an important point concerning winning a toxic mold case. There is a limitation of time that from the point a tort was committed or state of knowledge the illness was discovered and the time required to file suite against the negligent party. Lets not alow the children go untreated and lets keep the pressure on the insurance companys and CDC. Also there are special provisions for children, where the child can continue the parents efforts after the child has become an adult. It is important for all individuals to gather your facts and seek legal help as soon as possible in order for the dates to be established. You are correct that your group is entitled to be compensated for your time spent on their behalf. If these attornys do file class-actions suites they will have to post notices for others to join the class action, i.e. put thier name in the hat. I believe these are usually handled on a contingency basis. If your group does not wish to name the attorney's that the NTMC has acquire, then I would recommend a local counsel be used getting the files prepared for the suit to be filed. The individual can always fire the present attorney ane retain another attorney even after the suit has been filed. There should not be anything preventing the individual from having a suit and also being included in a class action suit. Thats what we pay the attorny's to figure it all out . Like everyone knows the laws are very confusing. I believe we will soon have baseline laws on the books concerning what is just unacceptable living and working conditions. From what I can tell the insuance companies are stating to look very pathetic in the eyes of the american consumer. That may be why they are turning to third world countries, where the market is not soft. It's my perception that we the consumers are veiwed by the corporate industrial giants to be disposable goods like the products that they are more than willing to lie about.
