Hi Casaria!

was taken off the Naprosyn 375 bid and put on the Vioxx the next

day 25 mg a day. She is nauseated, flu like feeling and has had diarrhea ever

since. Her ankles and knees are swollen and for the first time we could see

swelling in her wrists! It seems the higher the swelling the less she can

breathe.. When it goes back down it seems she can breathe better too? Georgina

suggested the cytotec for her nausea and I still haven't gotten the ok for that.

It seems that they feel the previcid or prelesic is just as good. I have some

calls to make again. I want to see for myself. The doctor that called me back

today has never seen and I have never met her. She was filling in for

the vacationing doc. Next time we go to Augusta I will make it a point to met

her. She has put her back on liquid Naprosyn 2t twice a day. I feel like I am

going backwards. She is going again to the rheumy 8/8. Her GI is 8/23. School

starts soon and I was so hoping to get this under control over the summer..fat

chance. Her great grandmother made her a thick material covered high density

foam cushion with a loop to take to school so her wooden seat doesn't effect her

spine hips as much. Well in Ohio it was 58-72. At home it is 80-95. So we are

hot too.

Have a sunny day!

Carol
