Joanne, I just saw Dr. Holmes, and she referred to mercury causing

mitochondrial dysfunction which then was reflected in elevated lactic

acid levels. I don't know why biopsies would not reveal abnormal

mitochondrial function in your case, but perhaps just microscopic

examination of the mitochondria was performed, which might not reveal

their functional ability. Just guessing. If you look at her article

at www.healing-arts.org/children/holmes/htm you can see which obscure

urine tests are listed that reveal mitochondrial function. If I

recall correctly, these tests might be run by Metametrix. But it

also sounds like you've had some high-powered allopathic workup done,

maybe these tests have already been run?

Hello Heidi,

I am no expert in this Heidi. There is an FDA manual detailing what has to

be labeled and how. The addy is:

http://www.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/cos-lab3.html#clgl2

If you are giving the stuff away, then I don't think there is any problem at

all. Soap is exempt from labeling requirements. Cosmetics and things making

any sort of " claim " need an ingredient listing. Good luck. By the way,

Melody is asking for the recipe, if you care to share, for the sports wash.

Maybe you could post it, if it is not private. Thanks.

Thank you Sage for responding to my question about the sport lotion/wash.

Can you tell me what the rules are for listing ingredients? Do I have to if

it's just for kids on my sons teams?

Thanks for any advice.

Hi ,

The surgeon' diagnosis might be correct but without treatment his diagnosis is

not worth a flip. Also, he may be fantastic in his field but that doesn't mean

he has a clue about PS or PA. I say see a rhuematologist who has some

experience with PA. It seems to be a pretty unusual condition. You have to be

your own best advocate in this mess. I'd encourage you to research on the

internet and then get to a specialist. Take care of yourself!

charged me a bunch of money to X-ray my feet. He showed me on the

xray where there were little nicks chewed out of the bones, caused by

psoriatic arthritis. I also showed him my psoriatic lesions and

discussed my family history.

Is that a good enough diagnosis?

However, frustratingly enough, he didn't say anything about treating

the arthritis, just wanted me to keep visiting him and pay the visit

fee. He'd make insoles for $450 though.

When I started having lesions, I asked several people about seeing an

immunologist and the only help was a psychiatrist who slipped up and

asked why would I want to see a rhumatologist?

I hear several other people complain about mis-diagnosis and people's

physician ignoring symptoms so I guess that is the lot of a person

with an obscure disorder?

Sincerely,

Mendel

I also got sick from a sickbuilding. It was an expired school trailer.

Whistleblowers may be rewarded on the front pages of Time Magazine but in

real life I was blackballed and lost my job after 25 devoted years for

reporting it. My advice to you is to find a new job and get out. Your health

is the most important thing adn while you are in the company, you cannot fix

the problem.

I would try the Taurine and see if it helps McCall, it can't hurt. I

have started my 13yo daughter on 250mg am and pm. It's only been a week

and I don't see any bad reactions from it. It's an amino acid that many

people with epilepsy seem to be deficient on. The way I see it, it can't

hurt them worse than the AEDs with all their awful side effects, right???

Good Luck!

Don't forget the necessary B6 cofactor. Good news on the scoliosis.

MJH,

I'm not forgetting the B6 with the Taurine, I was giving her 50mg with

the morning dose, but I started giving it to her with the evening dose as

well. How long do you think I should wait before giving her the 500mg

instead of just 250mg. She's been on it for a week now, Do you think I

should do it now or just wait another week? Thanks MJH.

I'm 43, and I'm on T full time. If you take hCG too, you wil maintain

fertility. However, Arimidex has been shown to stimulate T production,

as has hCG.
