Does the time limit for reporting a WC claim get extended with these cases?

I know that there a stat. of lim. for filing lawsuits, but if your former employer

is going to hide behind WC and your former employer is out of business and

you find out what may have caused your illness 13 months down the road,

what do you do?

Thanks. You are right about a negligence claim. It's the WC that is going

to have to come first. The employer will hide behind that. A doctor is now

going to have to look at the records and say "yes, it was mold." And this is

13 months after hospitalization. It was an acute hospitalization. The docs

there are not going to now say that they were wrong then. Or, maybe "wrong"

is not the right word. What a mess!

Thanks for your help!

this is when the time limit starts not when it happened if you weren't aware.

so u may be able to still file suit!
