Interim Superintendent Leonard Lanza did not have an end-of-the-day report on the student's progress at the church, but said that after four hours at the location there had been no reports of rashes or respiratory difficulties amongst the seventh- and eighth-graders at the site. But Lanza said it was premature to judge whether the successful morning at the church was an indication that the cause of the rash was contained to Salem school. " We'll know more through the week, " Lanza said. " If, in fact, it continued to the end of the day, this could be a very positive sign for these youngsters, some of which were extremely sensitive. " Back at the regular school, Lanza said there were two reported incidents of rashes Monday. He said one of the students reported the rash to the school nurse, while the other called her mother at home. Lanza said a few students reported to the school nurse Friday that they were containing the rash with medication. It is unknown exactly how many students are being medicated. dguarino@...
