Guest guest
Dear , Will put you on the email newsletter. Thanks for subscribing. I wish I could tell you it is true about the attorneys. The fact is we could not even find (1) to take our case and keep it. The one we hired initially, we went to get our file after three months and found his furniture on the way out the door. When we questioned where he was going his secretary said to the next town over to set up his firm, instead I found his new office in the building of the man we are suing over carbon-monoxide poisoning and toxic mold. But...he had Christian literature on his desk and a picture of angels on his new wall.......hmmmm......... It is now in Missouri State Appeals Court from Greene County, and I have had to do all the legal work for two years myself on top of being deathly ill. The Judge caused a violation of our 7th Amendment by continurally insisting that we needed and attorney, recently he came right out and said, "if you don't have an attorney you can't win this case." I should thank him I guess for violation of our civil rights. the town we live in flaggerently violates peoples civil rights. I get assigned cases periodically because no one wants to handle them. However, the appeal court can now set this for settlement hearing, but that doesn't mean that the other side will settle. Some of the lawyers hate me, some of them love me, and some of them pat me on the back. Some of them whisper behind my back, "I wish she worked for me." Ha! I recently spoke with one attorney and said,"you know you guys are not happy with your job.." He agreed, but couldn't see clear to change things. I just got through turning in my Certified Legal File and am working on the legal brief for the case. I should thank all the attorneys in Texas I used to work for and did all their leg work for trial, as a paralegal and court appointed criminal investigator for over 20 years. The legal field has changed considerably over the last 20 something years. It used to be about intelligence and honor in providing for a client. So many attorney's now take the money and run...your statue of limitations out....or to the other side.....or plain sit on your case....always be sure to find out if your attorney is a trial attorney or if he specializes in the field your case falls under. If not, you should seek alternative legal advice. I recently formed NUCLR National Union of Citizens for Legal Reform. Finally I told the Judge we had over 30 meetings with local attorneys who would keep our case for weeks and months, never sign contracts, and eventually say, well, I can't see clear to handle this. The last juge who asked me why I didn't have an attorney, I said, "because I can't be bought off, only settled with fairly." "Good point" he replyed. I did this because of the downhill turn our legal system has taken. My great-great-great Uncle Carroll of Carrollton, was an attorney, he helped draft the Declaration of Independence, and if you check out my sight at http:// ntmc0.tripod.com/carroll, and click on his State of Address, you will see that what he did was for all Americans. He is probably turning a few times over, in his grave about now, to see how the Constitution and Amendments have been manipulated by legal shiesters. We are looking for good "bad faith" attorneys. However it is difficult to find them without bipartizan interests... if you know what I mean. Many attorneys are Judges, Landlords or have Real Estate interests/property owners, or in politics, or use some of the top insurance companies for their mal-practice insurance. They "don't want to leave home without it" if you know what I mean.... Our class action is moving slowly but forward. I don't expect too much, until people are really angry, really tired, and say enough already!!! Then they will join our class action and get somewhere. They have all the money to fight us, that is why we have to join together and pool our resources. Numbers talk with Congress, and with the insurance companies. As you can tell I come from a long line of Political Activists for a good cause, and this cause is worth fighting for. Thanks for your comments, so sorry to hear how you are being treated. I am now teaching classes on " Know the law, and know your rights!" I am working on a two book series titled: 'WHY DOCTORS LIE!" and "WHY ATTORNEYS LIE!" You know these will be best sellers and I get justice one way or another. Also, itsounds like you have a good team of bad faithattorneys, and we havent been able to find one to helpour attorney with our case. 7 toxic molds, includingstachy. It has been 6 yrs. since our lawsuit began,as they continue to run us in circles. The part thatreally gets me, is that they have lost in arbitration, and the mold and our continuing illness was CAUSED bythe insurance co. I DID NOT call them to tell them Ihad mold in my walls. They failed,in bad faith, tocover damage to our walls, that they swore would dry!The house is now condemned, and the walls did not dryuntil a toxicologist and microbiologist went thoughthe house in 98(2 years later)and tore it out duringinspection! A 6,000.00 job turned into a destroyedhome and many destroyed lives. Do they (attorneys forNTMCF) represent others? If not would someone thereknow who could or would?
