Guest guest
Channel 4, I am not a resident of Texas but know that Toxic Mold is dangerous. Sadly, the "experts" you used seem to have no idea how dangerous it is. Might I suggest they read the attached CDC letter. As far as your state officials, perhaps they can explain why the state of Texas paid a half a million dollars of State money to test and clean up the Toxic Mold in the Governor's Mansion? This was done when Bush was your Governor. Are the Toxic Mold naysayers calling our President paranoid? I know first hand what Toxic Mold can do because we have it in our home. It grew due to water leaking in from the illegal construction our town and state inspectors knowingly allowed. The builders went bankrupt rather than pay the award of a jury. You need to get a better class of specialists for your background. Using Doctors that testify for insurance companies, builders and realtors that knowingly build and sell unsafe homes and government inspectors that look the other way to illegal construction is not professional. Try talking to the citizens that are suffering severe health effects from Toxic Mold. Come and see our homes that are infected with Toxic Mold. Then realize that you could have been the "lucky" person that bought the homes we live in. You offend the common sense of your listeners and viewers when you present biased and one sided reporting on an issue such as Toxic Mold. Even the US Army knows that Toxic Mold, such as Stachybotrys atra, is dangerous to Americans. Over a year ago I wrote Toxic Mold legislation for states and our Federal government. I have also written a Federal Construction lemon Law. Sadly, some of the same "special interests" groups that say Toxic Mold is no big deal are contributing to those very same elected officials that are suppose to be representing "We the People". Guest guest
Here is another story about the Toxic Mold in the Lawton Oklahoma schools. I've left several messages for the Mr. Wynn and others but nobody has called back. They won't release the mold report. I've been told they also have asbestos in their schools. http://www.lawton-constitution.com/pages/lo1.htm Here is my letter to the local paper. Ken January 22, 2003 Letter to the Editor Lawton Constitution Mold and your family! Across our Nation, many Communities and School Committees are reporting on problems and conditions within our schools and homes. This is in evidence in the stories about the growing Toxic Mold problems in Lawton schools that have been in your paper since Friday. To many of us, this is not something new. Many of us have been warning about these hidden dangers. Sadly, nobody at the Local, State or Federal levels bothered to listen. The CDC and EPA have only recently begun discussions on the Toxic Mold issue. On September 11, 2001, President Bush had me notified that he had ordered the Environmental Protection Agency to investigate the seriousness of these molds. President Bush knows first hand about Stachybotrys. As Governor of Texas, it was removed from the Governors Mansion because his family became sick from it. It cost the citizens of Texas 500 thousand dollars. President Bush also ordered the CDC to help. Several months ago they sent me a letter in which they acknowledged, for the first time, that Molds are dangerous. In a letter received recently, they stated that the Chair of a Federal Toxic Mold study was no longer Chair. We had challenged the "Impartial" status of the Chair who has been a defense expert witness in Courts saying that Toxic Mold is no big deal. Perhaps the most serious part of the problem is the issue of Toxic Mold. The mold being described is not that which you might find in your shower at home. The type of mold being described may be very serious to all. There are many types of mold and most are harmless. The most serious are Penicillium, Aspergillus and Stachybotrys (pronounced stack-ee-bot-ris). All can be usually found where water or moisture has entered or leaked into a structure. Stachybotrys, the most serious, can also be found in air conditioning/heating vent systems. Fans and dehumidifiers are no help against these molds. In fact, Stachybotrys becomes airborne, like its cousin Anthrax, when it is dried out. Stachybotrys is deemed a weapon of biological warfare by the US Army and was used by the Russians in Afghanistan in the 1980's. Many National Medical studies have shown that some of the effects of these molds are skin rashes, asthma, memory loss, breathing disorders, sleeping and memory disorders, brain damage, seizures, burning eyes, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and sore throats. According to medical reports, several children in Cleveland died from these toxic molds. The EPA suggests that schools utilize their publication Indoor Air Quality Tools for Schools to help train building personnel to conduct their own investigations of these issues. Dr. Eckardt Johanning, of Albany New York, has also written a book about Toxic Mold remediation from Schools and portable classrooms. He is a recognized leading National Expert on Toxic Molds and my families Doctor. Stachybotrys has been deemed by some in the Medical profession as the silent killer. Are your children safe in school from this potential silent killer? It might be in your home or where you work and you don't know about it. For those interested in more information on Toxic Mold or in proposed Federal and State Toxic Mold Law Legislation that I have written, contact me at kenhmoulton@.... I know first hand of the health dangers of Toxic Mold. We had it in our home and were forced to leave. Our home and all belongings must be destroyed due to the Toxic Mold. Our Toxic Mold was the result of faulty construction so we had no insurance coverage for anything. Attached is a photo of the Toxic Mold in our home. It smells as bad as it looks. Lawton may have no insurance coverage for the Toxic Mold in the schools as well because, nationwide, insurance companies are removing any mold coverage from policies. In almost all instances of Toxic Mold, you or your taxes pay. Guest guest
Mayo clinic says 98 % of sinus infections are fungal in origin. I don't know what tequin is, but I bet it is not an antifungal. Your illness is consistent with fungal infection- all of your symptoms. You really need to get out of the moldy air, it will keep you sick as long as you are exposed, and it will take time and treatment to get over it once you are free from re- exposure. It is important to seek treatment from someone who has some idea of the illness's causes and modalities. Good Luck, kathryn > > I have been sick for about 6-7 months.
