Bob,

Trust me I know. I got sick in a moldy basement work building on a Federal Shipyard. I now have asthma I never had, cannot go out without a 3m mask on as mold smell in dirt will do me in. I live with air cleaners. I am a single 39 year old woman with a daughter going off to college, and now it seems my life has been taken away. How long have you been out of there?

If no symptoms now, I started with sinus infections, bronchitis and hives, then maybe you are OK.

I work for the government. They have done nothing but fight me, ignore me and forcing me out on disability with no means for doctors I need. There was an Environmental Report done a year before I got sick that was never addressed UNTIL I got sick. The report isn't very good.

I wish you well and hope you stay in good health. I am still on a quest for a right doctor to help me.

Janet

Bob,

Do not be surprised if you request a toxicology serology and it comes back negative as you were not exposed. Thankfully, I met KC, moderator of this forum and he told me a copy that test individuals for molds etc.. Luckily I listened to him and had my blood drawn and shipped to them. My IgG's came back as positive for pullularis, fusarium, botrytis, aspergillus, penicillium and rhizopus.

However, I had the same test performed at my physicians office, the results came back negative! How does this happen, well, I have been told the lab is only as good as the people running the test. People are human and they make mistakes when interpreting toxicology reports. I am not the first one of this forum that this has happened too. I urge you to contact:

Hitachi Chemical Diagnostics Lab

1-800-233-6278

My physician drew my blood and shipped it to California, I had my results in hand within 5 days. They will ship all pertinent paperwork and blood vials to your home for your physician to use, with very easy instructions.

Good luck, I wish you much the best health.

Prayers,

Christa
