Guest guest
Dear All: This is something we've been following for a while. I was tipped off by City employees about two years ago that the City was allowing Arvida to hire its own inspectors and it was going to be a disaster. City Building Inspectors who went to the site saw numerous problems, but the Building Official would take no action. I was contacted by some homeowners last February and we started checking inspection records. One lady was floored -- the inspector was the Arvida warranty person she'd been trying to work with to get Arvida to correct problems (to no avail). We will continue to follow this very closely. The real issue which needs to be focused on is WHY the City allowed this to happen and why it continues to happen.
