Guest guest
Dear Sir, She needs to get a pulmonary doctor to give her a spirometry test and lung x-ray. IF it shows she newly diagnosed asthma, her pulmonary doctor can address a letter to the schools attorney and prohibit her from going back into the buidling. My pulmonary doctor was able to keep me from returning to the mold environment I was expsoed too. Her peak flow readings will tell if her oxygen intake is dropping. If she has been exposed to mold, it will show more than likely. After 7 months away from the mole environment my peak spirometry went from 36% back to 100%!!!! My problem was most definitely attributable to the environmen I was workign within. If this does not work let me know, I am going to a worker's comp settlement myself Feb 26, 2003, I may be able to assist you with some other professional medical ideas. Hopefully she has an Air Quality Test in hand from the school where she was exposed. If not, she needs to kiss the butts until she gets it in hand. IF they refuse to give it to her, make sure she finds out who took the test, she can request it herself. In NC it is a law to provide those exposed to that environment with a air quality report. If she does not have it, she may want to return when she gets her belongings and take samples of the mold with tape etc. and seal in a palstic sip lock bag only. As a paper bag is porus, she could cross contaminate her home etc.
Guest guest
Dear Sickbuildings/sroups, I have a friend who was exposed to mold in a portable classroom. She is out on WMC. She would like to find an occupational/Environmental doctor in Sarasota, Florida. Does anyone know of a good doctor in that area? She also needs a WMC attorney. Her employer wants to terminate her because she does not want to go back into her sick environment. thanks dgamst
