Guest guest
To the girl who's husband had Stachybotrys exposure: What did the neurologist do for your husband if you don't mind me asking? I had stachybotrys exposure as well as 11 other molds. I did see 2 neurologist and other types of doctors as well. I did have alot of changes in memory, articulation of thoughts, stumbling gait, etc. I am better to some degree now, however, I still have memory problems and just do not feel cognitively right. I worked as a RN in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit and it got to where I could not add up something and figure out the tax on a calculator without feeling nervous/overwhelmed and confused I was making an error(my soon to be ex-husband has a store. I was taking other drugs beside antifungals. I took Neurontin, Carbatrol (for nerve pain) elavil (for general pain and sleep), zoloft and valium for muscle spasms to name a few- most of these medications would be common things a neurologist would prescribe. However, the anticonvulsant neurontin and carbatrol can also raise your liver function studies. I would love to know what you husband did that helped him. I am so glad he is doing better.
