Guest guest
My best friend's wife is going through chemo for colon cancer. She was given this poem, and changed the word cancer to mold. I thought it would be a good thing for all of us "mold" people to connect with. I , myself am having a tough time. I had surgery yesterday for nerve damage and am being evicted. Anyway, I thought it would be good to share. If friendships were killed from this then they were not true. If loved ones went away, then they never really loved you. I have lost both of them as this illness is hard to handle so I am trying to cope alone, as well as can be. Just like us all. God Bless, Janet s WHAT MOLD CANNOT DO Mold is so limited It cannot cripple love It cannot shatter hope It cannot corrode faith. It cannot eat away peace It cannot destroy confidence It cannot kill real friendship It cannot shut out memories It cannot silence courage It cannot invade the soul It cannot reduce eternal life It cannot quench the spirit It cannot lessen the power of resurrection Our greatest enemy is not the disease, but the despair
