Guest guest
Jazzy, I have been on here awhile and it seems mostly in Texas, Florida and California. I live in Maine but it was from a federal government flooding 100 year old black mold up the walls that made me sick. I smell it everywhere now so wear a mask outside and use air cleaners inside...... but I dont know if New England is prevalent or not. Guest guest
Yes, I knew you meant England. ~ I said New England meaning where I am. I know they closed down a major hotel in Hawaii from mold problems. I am so hypersensitive now. Never mind fighting Uncle Sam. All your symptoms sound like mold symptoms. I always thought it was strange but my first sign is the top outside of my right ear burns like crazy.God Bless you...Janet
Guest guest
Janet That's interesting! I appreciate you replying. I had gotten the impression that it was practically world wide. :-/ Oh, I'll bet it's in Hawaii too. I've been sick ( mild sick, flu-like symptoms, dizzy, headaches, shortness of breath etc) for nearly 3 years and finally realizing it's got to be the area I live in, in California, with hot springs and lakes. Another person with similar symptoms moved to another town and has had no problem since. In Hawaii I had the same symptoms but also burning eyes.Tons of mold there. But again, I imagine it has to do with various sections of the islands also. I'm very sorry for people who have hed such tragic experiences with mold in buildings and I greatly appreciate this list to raise public awareness and offer ideas as well as sincere personal help. In my case, I can move and spend more time outside in the fresh air in the meantime. By the way, it wasn;t New England I asked about but the country of England. :-) It's damp there but everything, it seems, is made of brick or stone. I'm thinking that brick and stone don;t attract mold. I don;t know. I have many friends there so it was on my mind. Though I've never heard any complaints about mold there. Probably. Probably doesn;t get or stay warm enough. (?) Anyway, this e-mail is probably counted as personal mail, so I will be more selctive in what I send for now on. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciated you telling me because I honestly began thinking the situation was almost a lost cause ( the constant sickness gets you depressed) but now I have more hope. :-) Jazz Gingersnap1964@... wrote: Jazzy, I have been on here awhile and it seems mostly in Texas, Florida and California.
