Guest guest
It is my understanding that Ed McMahon had to settle for only $230,000 because he didn't have medical back up. I was told he visited a Dr. in Spring, Texas. The other attornies got a hold that Dr. is not an expert witness and only a family practice physician graduated from medical school in Mexico. That was not the only money that the man received the day prior to going to trial. It is good they found a win-win situation. The man got his house fixed, he was able to rent a house next to his mansion for $23,000. His neighbor is happy that he got some good rent money for several months. He got several large checks for his time, expense, and inconvience. The insuance companies and contractors probably learned a valuable leason about doing a job right the first time. He did have loss of earnings from his health. He is a pretty amazing gentleman. I was told he > visited a Dr. in Spring, Texas.
