Guest guest
We are planning to buy a HBOT Chamber for my nine year old son and bump into this web site for Certec HBOT (http://www.autismweb.com/forum/viewtopic.php? p=111906 & sid=4817b10066323207da58b6f76136e778) But we have never heard about this manufacture for HBOT Chamber. Any thought? Any input will be appreciated! patty
Guest guest
Hi Patty, I do not know anything about the Certec chambers. They approach us, the CHERISH Foundation to sell them, but currently we do not represent any chamber manufacturer. However, CHERISH is happy to sell any chamber to you for any price you negotiate with the manufacturer. Proceeds support ouf CHERISH a CHild Grants, which help kids get HBOT as well as can help us with our current HBOT for autism study with the UC medical SChool's MIND Institute. The truth is, each of the chambers have their pluses and minuses. But, currently Oxy Health has been attacking us for not marketing and selling their chambers exclusively. However, every time we quoted a price to a parent, they under cut us significantly below the purchase costs for CHERISH. So, they don't seem to be able to live up to their contract terms. They are also very aggressive about bad mouthing other manufacturers, without proof, or reason. So, I have to question that. One of the manufacturers they have bad mouthed is Performance HBOT. http://www.performance-hyperbarics.com/?gclid=CKPqw7Lsv5ECFQgwiQodfSfINw So, CHERISH hasn't aligned itself with any manufacturers, but will sell any chamber. Again, the proceeds help kids with HBOT directly. (All kids in the CHERISH-MIND HBOT for autism study get 80 free sessions). Our website is www.CHERISHfoundation.org Again, we do not know much about Certec, and have not seen its product, but all the products we have seen so far seem comparable. And Certec has a low price point. I hope this helps. PS we have just started getting data back on the early patients of the autism study, and the UC Medical School - MIND people are very excited. These are very mainstream physicians / researchers. CHERISH needs to complete the study but have run out of funds. So, if anyone knows any " angels " out there who can donate for the study, we are seeking $60,000 to finish the study, and $100,00 total to pay of the study and all debts. There is little doubt that this will lead to hundreds of kids getting free HBOT.
