Guest guest
Welcome to all newbies. I joined this group in Aug-Sept 1999, but no longer post often. Steve, I also wanted to admonish you to avoid anything that will stimulate your immune system before you have a firm diagnosis. With respect to high doses of vitamin C, that depends on what is meant by " high " . I just returned from the PBC Convention and we were cautioned against megadoses of vitamin C. If you do find you have liver disease, you need to read Dr. Palmer's Guide to Hepatitis Liver Disease. I bought my copy from Amazon.com and received it in 2 days. As others have said, please go to a knowledgeable gastro for blood tests, and if elevated LFT's are shown you need your antibodies tested and possibly a biopsy. I would not take any herbal supplements before you have a diagnosis. Good luck. It is interesting to hear new thoughts. , I am still managing to work full time even with both AIH and PBC. Often it is just about all I can do, but if you can afford to only work part time, it would be a good thing so your stress level is lowered and your body can concentrate on more important things! Good luck to you, too. Loes, the flowers to Sylvana are a lovely idea. I would be happy to help with the cost; if you like you can email me directly. I am terribly worried about her and fear she will not be here with us next year. , where have you been, Girlfriend? I am glad your varices are not terribly serious yet and hope you can nail down the lactulose dosage. How is Gregg? I miss hearing from you two but hope you are both doing well. Guest guest
...I would love to hear more about the chin surgery (from anyone with this experience). This has been something I have wanted to do for many years but fear of surgery keeps me away from the idea. I am 36 and have had my chin (as it is) almost all my life. At age 15 a procedure was done to give me a chin but I have since grown around it and would love to have it "fixed" again. Unfortunately the doctor who performed the procedure in 1980 is no longer around and I dont even know where to begin. Any insight from anyone would be greatly appreciated. I've been battling Candida for many years now. I recently discovered that I still have a 3+ candida, and according to the tests I took, the only thing that will kill it is the prescription drugs i.e. Diflucan, Nizoral, etc. My problem is this: I have bad breathing problems and whatever is going on in my gut seems to be affecting my breathing badly. Also, when I take the drugs, it only makes things worse. Any ideas on how to get past this? , I have the same problem. Sometimes I can barely breath. E-mail me and maybe we can talk. Guest guest
Thanks for the info , I guess there is conflicting info about the subject, I was going by an article I read on the web. I will start taking it after my workout, it's a pain to have to take it 1 hour before the workout and then make sure nothing happens to get me off schedule to start my workout at an hour and then if something happens (phone call, etc) I feel I have wasted the benifits of the creatine. This will definately make life easier! :-) > Message: 12 > Date: Mon, 2 Jun 2003 18:14:12 -0700 (PDT) > From: <melaniemiller2002@...> > Subject: Re: Digest Number 1661 > > , > > You will find you have better results from the creatine if you consume it > IMMEDIATELY after working out...the sooner, the better. Guest guest
I have to say that again, I missed this post below. I am as well testing my faith. I have to believe that there is a God and that this hell I am going through this ill and such a prisoner is for some plan by Him, or I have nothing at all. My illness was caused by a 100 year old flooding moldy basement for twelve years that was not EVER cleaned up. THAT cant be God. That's the Governments fault. I have tried from State Senators all the way to the President AND the Naval General Inspector. \ They ALL LIE. I have written proof and copies of that!!!!! THEY SENT ME TO A MOLDY ALLERGISTS BUILDING AND THREATENED MY LIFE!!!!!!!! Sorry, under the weather today and not good. But I did not see this post. If I believe God is punishing me then for what? Being a single mom and working two jobs and going without so my child had food? All that came out of it for me was illness, hepa filters and no life. That baby just graduated two weeks ago as an HONOR student and is off to college this fall. I CANNOT believe it is punishment. If it is,then anything good I have done in my 39 years is worthless. Janet Subj: [] Re: Digest Number 1663 Date: 6/28/03 4:16:43 PM Eastern Daylight Time From: hatemold@... Reply-to: Sent from the Internet (Details) I am new to this group and new to the mold exposure but I am appalled at this post! I am a college student that has gone to church my entire life and have obeyed every law, every rule and read the bible everyday. I for one did not ask to be exposed to toxic mold, nor did I commit any crime that God would need to punish me for as Ms. Carroll has mentioned in this post. I don't know what church you attend, but I for one would never attend a church or believe in a God that would punish innocent people. What about all the unborn children that have been effected by toxic mold? Or the children that are born that continue to suffer everyday from this unjust exposure? Surely you cannot blame them for the toxic mold, they have suffered from? What about your own family Ms. Carroll, what did you do that was so bad that God had to punish you twice with the same infliction? In our church we learn that we are doomed to repeat our mistakes until we learn from them. So my assumption is since you have been exposed in two different homes that you have not learned anything from them. I feel very sorry for you and your family, if these are your beliefs. God does not want to see his children suffer. God certainly wouldn't cause it to happen as your post implies. If you know W (I am assuming this is the President), then call him up and ask him to provide you with the money to help people. Or since you seem to be on a first name basis with God, why don't you call him and ask him to provide and to end the suffering? That would probably be the most prudent thing you could do for us "victims". We are all sick and we do not need someone to preach to us about our sinful ways and how that if we were only good little children, none of this would be happening to us. I've got news for you, I was a good little child, and it happened to me. And it will continue to happen to people and it has nothing to do with you (as you are really not that important to anyone but yourself), God, or anyone else. Please take the time to research this issue, it would do us all a big favor if you and everyone else would become educated about this prior to spouting off. > > Of course it could be worse than all that, it could be Judgement time and certainly even us victims understand Levicticus writings about mold. Guest guest
Dear Hatemold: Perhaps in Ms. Bower's church (http://ntmc0.tripod.com/yeshua/) mold is a punishment? I don't know. Maybe she can enlighten us. Of course it could be worse than all that, it could be Judgement > time and certainly even us victims understand Levicticus writings > about mold. Guest guest
Moldauthor: When you said Ms. Bower's church, I thought you meant the church she attended, but when I clicked on the link you provided, it says she founded the church. Is that correct? Ms. Bower, are you an ordained minister? I find that really bizarre that someone would actually have their own church! Well, no matter what the circumstances, I do not, nor will I ever believe that mold is a form of punishment by God. The God that I was brought up with is a loving caring God. I believe that Jesus, God's only son, was brought from the heavens to save us from our sins. Christians do not believe that God could possibly be punishing us, as Jesus died on the cross to save us from sin, He cleansed our souls, He did not do all this only to punish us by contaminating our homes, dorms, schools, and workplaces with mold. Sorry for the rant, I am just a true believer and have a hard time understanding how people can use God's name like that. > > Of course it could be worse than all that, it could be Judgement > > time and certainly even us victims understand Levicticus writings > > about mold. Guest guest
MJH the funny thing is. I have taken fish oil capsules and flax oil capsules. I got rid of the fish oil ones just because I was afraid of mercury so I switched to the flax and I got the same results. Many seizures gone and all the auras gone. Thanks for your info You are always helpful. I hope charlie is feeling better and out of the hospital.
