Guest guest
Hi everyone. Look, I think there is an unspoken rule on these pages about not discussing personal politics, and I strongly support that. However, this is also a page for us supporting our kids, whom we all love with all our hearts. So, I feel it is important to suggest to everyone to heed Palin's statement last night: She will be an advocate for special needs children in the White House. Now, I am under no illusions that any of us will be able to call her up and get help with our IEP, Insurance problems, etc. But, I also feel this is one of the greatest opportunities to move the Civil Rights of our kids forward so they can have their voices heard and needs met. I will not step on anyone's toes to push Palin; nor will I open debates on the two candidates. This is not the place for that. We have too many other battles to fight. However, please consider the hockey mom who also loves her little boy with all her heart and listen to her two speech lines about the Parents of Special Needs kids; and how she will advocate for us and them. Blessings to all.
