Unless the soap actually gets into the liver to release the toxins

that bind with the liver, I don't see how an external soap can be

beneficial other than scrubbing away external toxins.

It probably doesn't need to get directly to the liver. As toxins start

exiting the body, other toxins in the body will start to mobilize and go

towards the surface then find a pathway out. The liver will try to

eliminate toxins if they have another place to go. If your bloodstream and

lymphatic system are clear, then the liver is able to function optimally. I

understand this soap is taken internally as well. I just wanted to hear

from someone who has already tried it before I spend the money and try it on

myself. Best wishes to you and thanks for all your knowledgeable

posts........Betsy

Betsy, I never heard of it. If you try it can you let me know how you do with it, as I have to evidently detox very slowly. Thanks,Janet

Since your skin is the largest organ of elimination in your body, it is

an extremely important part of detoxification. Based on that, I would

assume that Master's Miracle Soap, or any other exfoliating soap, works.

Most products sold by MLMs tend to be overpriced, since you are paying

everyone in the distributor's upline, you can find comparable products

in any health food store for less money.

A Loofah Bath Pad, body scrub brush, herbal body scrubs, etc. will do

the same thing. A salt glow, made with sea salt and water, is extremely

effective and costs about the least to make.

BTW, what are you detoxifying from?

E. s......nice to hear from you. Okay, where to start.

Probably my most dominant toxin is mercury (mostly from dental amalgam

fillings), nickel exposure that I got from an ear piercing gone wrong which

hypersensitized me to most metals when I was in my teens, then years of lead

exposure from gas and exhaust fumes because I liked to ride motorcycles in

the days when we were all so trusting of leaded gasoline and

high-performance, high-octane fuels and now a serious mold problem in my

home that the powers-that-be seem to think is a " bunch of hype " or unfounded

hysteria. Nowadays, there are so many offending chemicals around us and in

almost all our food and water, it's downright scary! I agree with your

recommendation of a salt glow. Instructions for it can be found in Jethro

Kloss's book, " Back To Eden " along with much other wonderful information or

I'm sure this may be found with a web search. Thanks for reminding me of

this..........Betsy

Betsy,

I had mercury poisoning twice, each time the company that I worked for

sent me to work at one of their manufacturing plants. An RBC mineral

test, which I had done every 3 months, came back with high readings.

I took large amounts of vitamin C, glutathione, chlorella, and did one

or more far infrared (FIR) saunas each day. It took about 30 days to

detoxify from the mercury.

Going on a strict macrobiotic diet can also help keep your body

detoxifying naturally.

Janet,

Mix the sea salt in a cup with water to form a gritty paste. Moisten

your skin with lukewarm water and massage the salt mixture into your

skin with a circular motion. Finally wash away the mixture.

You can also buy premixed herbal salt scrubs that contain aromatic oils,

minerals, vitamins, etc. Or go to a day spa and combine the scrub with a

massage (WARNING: This could be habit forming).

I have to disagree adamantly. If you are chemically sensitive the last

thing you need to be around any essential oil.

As ypu know the brain is a lipid. THe blood brain barrier of most

chemcially senitive people has been compromised. So therefore the

selectivity of what hits/effects the brain is diminished. As you also

know most allopathic drugs are made so that they do not transcend the BBB.

ALL essential oils are lipophilic aka FAT loving. In order for the EO's

to elict a response (relaxation etc) it has to effect the CNS as the mere

touch on the skin can not cause any response. So you have it traveling

from the olfactory pathway etc to the brain. THere is no logic as to why

you want to have the brain have any more chemicals effecting/invading it.

THere are numerous detox baths with epsom salts, sea salts etc. ALL spa's

have EO's, massage oils etc. They are the most dangerous places for

anyone chemically injured. People who work there have no clue about

chemical hypersneitivity, they are dipolma milled people who learn from

others. If they understood this illness they would be chem free and

enforce it for the benefit of their clients, but they don't.

My massage therapist has been trained byme to not use anything with a

fragrance has a special table for those who are chemically sensitive and

will not schedule people who want *perFUMES* the same days as those who

want it safe.

There are detox products that are based on chinese herbs that you use on

your feet at night. That seem to be working for people. They are

completely safe, its like wearing a bandaid to bed.

As I stated before, homeopathy is the safe and gentle way to detox. Herbs

under a licensed naturopath work.

I don't believe that pure sea salt contains any EO in it. The question

was how to make a salt glow with sea salt, rather than buy some over

priced soap from an MLMer.

If we change the subject to chemical sensitivity, herbs no longer become

the safe natural way to detoxify, either. Herbs work by stimulating and

destimulating organ pairs, to bring their energy levels back into

balance. They become very toxic when used long term. The herbs should

only be used in pairs of herbs, under the supervision of someone who

knows traditional Chinese medicine.

Homeopathy is different from herbs. It works on the principle of

imprinting energy from a toxic source.

Anyone who has MCS should be under the care of a medical doctor who

practices environmental medicine (not the care of an MLMer).

Since I used the M word twice, this post should bring in a lot of hate mail.

In the baby section of the grocery they have this little plastic

squeeze bottle that probably costs between $3-$5. Warm up some sea

salt water and do a nasal thrush. (Do it in the shower when your

nasal passages are opened up a little bit from the steam.)

Are you on a high alkaline diet? (High alkaline ph)

Do you have a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's nearby? They have something

called Kombucha Green Tea which is great for the immune system. Also

roobius (sorry spelling) red tea with honeybush which is an

antifungal.

Do you take any supplements? Flax oil with lignans is also extremely

helpful. You can do a search which will bring up scientific data to

back everything up. (As I stated before all my belongings are gone so

it takes time to get my paper work and data back together.)

Have faith and do not give up. My health was like yours and now I am

a lot better.

Herbs are not under the auspices of TCM...they govern chinese herbs not

the ones that are indogenous to the US etc. SO a TCM/OMD willnot be

qualified to treat with others.

I was in NATUROPATHIC medical school I know the differences and there are

many ways to detox...but homeopathhy is gentler and safer....If you waqnt

to debate this off list be my guest.

A ND is QUALIFIED to treat those with MCS which is a lay persons

term....it's correctly called TOxic Encephalopathy.

ANd I concur a MLM is nothing more than a pyramid scheme with the founders

profiting!

Currently 73 units of college education. I have a

journalist/investigative mind so I wear a lot of hats and have self

educated myself in various areas. I have experience in: sales,

product development, marketing, management, employee training etc.

I was incredibly sick from toxic mold and really have not researched

the asbestos area yet but I did enough research to get myself better.

All of my belongings are gone so right now I am acting as a

housekeeper and sleeping on the floor to earn my keep.

I need to find a job so I can replace my belongings, get a car, and

start getting certified. I have a good heart and a big mouth so I am

trying to figure out what I need to do job/education wise to get in

the right place and help people with these issues.

I guess you can also call it a hobby until I publish but I am also

working on what I would call a " world theory. " My

explanation/connection between: homelessness, abuse, mental/physical

sickness, crime, etc. I am very motivated and hard working and it

frustrates me to see people who are 50 years old sick with

Parkinson's disease, cancer, etc. when they do not need to be.

I think it is too easy to loose everything which is why I think

prevention is key. I would much rather prevent then intervene. I am

very passionate about these issues so hope I have not tangented off

for too long.

Poor argumentative attitudes are what keep professionals from taking

their time to help people on these lists. Everyone may not agree with

each other but if someone takes the time to be helpful it is

important to be thankful. A good attitude and an open mind will get

you farther in this world. Just my $.02.

We were in the same boat and I was incredibly ill.

When I realized I was facing an ignored brain tumor I did my research

and got in the boat to better health. I did not just want a patch I

wanted a cure and tried to reverse the damage done to my body. I am

not 100% but at least I have my energy back and I try to learn and

get better every day.

I am too young and refused to loose my life and future goals because

of someone else's lies and lack of responsibility.
