Guest guest
Why will nobody help the VICTIMS of Government corruption? Don't we deserve JUSTICE? Are we any less Americans as those that commit the crimes against us? Maybe if stories like ours was told, the corruption might stop and the guilty would go to jail where they belong. Ken Moulton The Government response continues to evade the facts and truth. You have failed to obey and enforce the Law! You have made my Family victims of Government corruption. Do we mean so little to you rich and powerful politicians? Ken Moulton Thank you for your response. I wrote, by emails, fax nad US Mail, to the Governor , AG, Public Safety and Health Dept. about the unsafe and unhealthy conditions in our home and the repeated denials of the Barnstable Health and Building Inspectors to inspect our home. I statrted sending these health issues about two years ago. I have sent the safety, corruption and illegal inspection issues to most of these people for almost a decade. Your reply was the first time anybody from the health dept. has bothered to reply. Sadly, as I said earlier, your reply is too little and too late. It seems the state decides when it is in their best interest to enforce the law. If the State had obeyed and enforced the Law, my family would not be suffering severe health conditions. The current owner of 38 Hawser Bend had an unlicensed company replace/install a new septic system at 38 Hawser Bend. The Town of Barnstable Health Dept. is well aware of this fact and still refuses to act. The company that did the work had it's license revoked long before doing the work at Hawser Bend. I am not a Lawyer, but I think you can get a court order to enter the property if you have the slightest believe of a health danger to 38 Hawser Bend or the community. In 2001, as I told the Town of Barnstable, Governor, AG and many other State, county and local officials, High Levels of Dangerous Toxic Mold were escaping from the house into the ground, air and environment. Nobody did a thing! I paid several thousand dollars to hire the same experts that inspected and found Toxic Mold for W. Bush when he was the Governor of Texas. It was in the Goveror's Mansion and was making the First Family ill. As I stated, this information was shared with all those I have mentioned but you all buried your heads in the sand to avoid the truth. Now my family continues to suffer destroyed health from this Toxic Mold that was a byproduct and direct result of illegally and unsafe performed State work. It has cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars as well as our destroyed health. We are the VICTIMS and are still forced to suffer due to Massachusetts indifference. Your e-mail was forwarded to theDepartment of Public Health ("Department") for response. Please note thatthe Department is responding to you by e-mail only since we do not have acurrent address for you.In your e-mail to Governor Romney, you stated that you made repeatedrequests to the Barnstable Board of Health for a housing inspection at theproperty but that the Board of Health failed to conduct such an inspection. You also described correspondence you have had with many local health andbuilding code officials in Barnstable, MA, as well as the state Departmentof Public Safety, concerning issues related to the construction of theproperty and oversight of the building process by local officials. In response to your e-mail, I sent you an e-mail in which I offered to havemembers of my staff conduct a housing code inspection at the property ifrequested. I subsequently learned that you no longer own the property norreside there and thus are unable to lawfully authorize its inspection. Yousuggested that the Department contact the current tenant. I have attemptedto reach the current tenant, but to date have been unable to reach her.Should you wish to pursue an inspection of the subject property, I suggestthat you contact the current owner/occupant and have him contact me.Your e-mail also suggested that you have previously contacted the stateDepartment of Public Health to request an inspection of this property. I amnot aware of any previous request for a housing inspection at this property. As I pointed out in my previous e-mail to you, local boards of health aregenerally autonomous agencies and the Department does not have any directoversight or control over local government agencies. The state sanitarycode (MGL c. 111, sec. 127A) requires local boards of health to enforce thesanitary code, but the Department may enforce the code if the local board ofhealth fails to do so. I have attempted to reach the Barnstable Board ofHealth to determine their position in this matter, but have not yet receiveda response. As previously stated, the Department will conduct an inspectionof this property if requested by the current owners or tenants.I hope you find this responsive to your request.Sincerely, WensleyDirectorDivision of Community SanitationMassachusetts Department of Public HealthGet more from the Web.
