I too love coffee especially since moving here to Slovenia (all they drink is espresso). Should you concentrate on giving up coffee? Depends on how often you drink it, how much you drink and whether you are having any problems with your energy levels or not. The adrenals are like the main factory in the human body for manufacturing a myriad of hormone and their precursors. Exhaust these babies and you are going to have some problems. So really this is your choice but from a health perspective I would say you will be much better off not drinking caffeinated beverages ever. Don't go for the decaf either as there is nothing natural about the decaf process. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man. There are all kinds of replacements for coffee that do not contain caffeine. One has already been suggested to you. Since you don't need the 'kick' why not just go with plain roasted chicory or maybe even roasted dandelion? Maybe whip yourself up a nice fresh smoothie in the morning and go for 200! ;-) Seriously though, mate, herb teas (there are lots), maybe make your own version of Indian chai (ginger, cardamom, bay leaves, pepper corns, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc). Both my wife and I enjoy drinking this one and the aroma is really nice. -- Peace, love and light, Don Quai " Spirit sleeps in the mineral, breathes in the vegetable, dreams in the animal and wakes in man.
