Guest guest
Hi Everyone, I drove from Haverhill, MA (where I live) down to Cranston, Pawtucket and N.Providence RI to the respective town halls to ask to see maps of flood plain and/or wetland areas. I shouldn't have gone at all, if you know what I mean - in terms of my health (head splitting migraine, upset stomach, aching joints). But I HAD to go because of my health - it must be improved. I can't live the rest of my life like this. I was exhausted overall and after getting stuck in holiday weekend traffic, but then I woke up at 2 am and couldn't go back to sleep because I realized that, here I am going to town halls to try to find a place where I can safely live, but they may not tell me the truth! The reason I am thinking this is because this summer I went with some environmental activists who hate the fact that developers are being allowed to build on what these activists have known for 30 years are protected wetlands! What they do at town hall is REDRAW the maps so that the areas the builders want to develop on are no longer considered wetlands! But THEY ARE WETLANDS. So a person who has already lost their job, their home, so much money and their sanity must now spend more money to hire an environmental person who is reputable and won't take the political line the politicians in the local city hall demand (how does one find such a person?) to declare whether the home one is considering buying is on wetlands or not. I don't know what kind of pressure may be exerted on that environmental inspector politically, but it seems that he or she might get into big trouble if they declare a place to be a wetlands where the town/city hall inspector has declared it to NOT be a wetland! Who wins? Not the prospective buyer, that's for sure. One guy in a city hall yesterday seemed to be a nice guy, but then he started joking around about how "even" his house got "stuffy" when his wife hung the laundry up to dry in the basement. WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT WET LAUNDRY AND STUFFINESS. He was already trying to minimize and joke about the situation. He could start saying, "Well, if you're so sick, what are you doing driving down here?" Then others say, "You are so sick that you must get out of that place." How do I do it? How does anyone do it? No one knows the effort and time that must be made in this especially when you are made extremely ill by where you live and there is no one to help you! I have no family and I live alone. How can I become a parasite on acquaintances and colleagues? How can I suddenly pick up a man who will take this project on? It's ridiculous! I couldn't sleep as I thought of others like me, trusting in what paid city politicians are telling them, when those elected politicians regularly sell out to big money. That's the latest. I'm going to post this information so, sorry, you may get it twice. I keep going by taking zillions of vitamins, drinking a lot of coffee/caffeine, taking a lot of allergy medications and taking a lot of Excedrin. Anger and frustration helps, too. Guest guest
, Have you seen a doctor that specializes in mold patients? Have you done a detox or starting taking any natural antifungals? I am not a doctor but drinking tons of coffee and taking a bunch of excedrin is probably not the healthiest choice. If you want a list with some suggestions I would be happy to share some things that have helped me.
Guest guest
Well, I am being treated with antifungals and antibiotics for a fungal and bacterial overgrowth in my gut, but until I move out of the place that is actually making me ill, treatments are sort of ridiculous. I am totally lacking in energy and can't afford to lie in bed although that's what I want to do! The headaches hit with a vengeance. If you have recommendations, by all means, tell me. However, I am aware that I can't "detox" until I'm out of the place where I am being made ill. A dreadful catch-22. Thanks for your concern. ----- Original Message ----- From: Bonnie s Sent: Saturday, October 11, 2003 4:13 PM Subject: [] Re: Latest efforts ,Have you seen a doctor that specializes in mold patients? Guest guest
Please get out of there so you are no longer exposed. Without your health you have nothing so please leave. Also please talk to your doctor but the antibiotics are a bad idea. When you are out I will give you plenty of suggestions.
